Everything you need to know about renting your property for the 2027 Ryder Cup
How should I price my property?
Ryder Cup Travel Services (RCTS) will develop a recommended price guide based on several key factors:
- Distance from the event venue
- Room configuration
- Facilities
- Overall rating & quality of the property
- Ancillary services offered
What property sizes are of interest?
All properties will be considered and have rental potential. However, in general, a minimum of 2 bedrooms and a good bedroom-to-bathroom ratio—ideally at least 1 bathroom per 2 bedrooms—is preferred.
How many nights will I rent my property for?
The standard rental term is 8 nights:
- Arrival: Sunday, September 12th, 2027
- Departure: Monday, September 20th, 2027
Do I need to be located close to Adare?
The closer your property is to Adare, the more desirable it will be to potential tenants.
There is no strict distance limit, but a maximum of a 60-minute drive is suggested.
Note: The full-service “Managed” option will only consider properties within 20 km of Adare.
What services do you offer and what is the cost?
There are three base listing tiers:
- Listed – €295: Your property is listed on the platform. You manage all tenant inquiries, contracts, and payments yourself.
- Assisted – €450: RCTS helps you finalize and optimize your listing, provides a rental valuation, and gives access to templates (tenancy agreements and info packs).
- Managed – €645* + 20% + VAT commission: Full-service support. RCTS handles your listing, marketing, virtual viewings, contracts, payments, and tenant search.
*Note: If RCTS successfully rents your property, the €645 fee is deducted from the commission and returned to you.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. The only costs are those clearly stated under the service tier you choose.

How will rental enquiries for my property be handled?
That depends on the service tier you select:
- Listed: Inquiries go directly to your email.
- Managed: RCTS liaises with all potential clients and matches your property where appropriate.
If I select the ‘Listed’ or ‘Assisted’ option, how should I take a booking?
We recommend:
- Requesting a non-refundable deposit
- Charging a refundable safety deposit
- Requiring full payment 30 days before arrival
Do I need to have safety checks carried out?
Yes. You must comply with all applicable government rental legislation.
This includes having up-to-date gas (if applicable) and electrical safety certificates,
as well as any required licenses. RCTS will keep you informed of any changes to regulations.
Is there anything I need to do to ensure my house is ready for rental?
Yes. We recommend the following:
- Minimize clutter and personal items
- Secure or remove valuables, clothes, and food
- Leave only basic furniture and appliances
- Provide fresh bedding and towels—just like a hotel
What are the key dates?
- September 2025: Official Property Rental Programme marketplace goes live for property listings.
- October 2025 – September 2027: Properties may be rented throughout this period either via RCTS or directly by owners, depending on the service level chosen.
